Our story begins 1895 when, at the tender age of 58, William Martin launched his bedding business on Edinburgh’s prestigious George Street. His promise was to become “the leading bedding house in the city.” He kept this promise, and the company became well known to generations of customers – not only for bedding, but all types of household furnishings. We believe William Martin would be pleased to know that in Martin & Frost’s destination store at Fort Kinnaird, Edinburgh, his original principles of service and quality are still very much alive.
